Jacobsen highlights the guide as a tool parents can use for kids of all ages to help minimize potential student debt. The roadmap includes activities like a grocery store game for preschoolers, a way to teach compound interest to fifth-graders and a stock market exercise for teenagers. Though the guide is primarily a resource for parents, Betty Lochner notes it is “rich with ideas and activities for educators” as well.
